Peerless Handcuff And Leg Iron, 700 CTC32

The Peerless Handcuff and Leg Iron consists of handcuff model 700 and the leg iron model 703 can be a collectible - yet is fully functional.

The Peerless Handcuff and Leg Iron 700 CTC32 is a combined model of the Peerless handcuff model 700 and the leg iron model 703. The connection between handcuffs and leg iron consists of a approximately 81 centimeter long chain and effectively restricts the freedom of movement.

Made from nickel-plated steel the restraint combination from Peerless is fully functional and both handcuff and leg iron can be closed and locked separately. The hand restraint offers 21 locking positions. Circumferences of minimally 150 millimeters and maximally 210 millimeters are possible. Due to these measurements the hand restraint is fitting for smaller and average sized wrists. The connective chain in the middle of both handcuff parts is circa eight centimeters long. The range of movement of both hands is effectively restricted and attempts at manipulation can be prevented.  

The leg iron is designed similarly. It has an inner circumference that can be adjusted between 205 and 265 millimeters. Due to 17 locking positions the circumference can be optimally adjusted to the circumference of the ankles. The connective chain between both sides of the leg iron has a length of 40 centimeters and therefore allows for the independent walking of the restrained individual. Yet the individual can only make small steps while running and faster walking are not possible and attempts at flight can be effectively hindered.

The safety is heightened as well because kicks – for example – are not possible and therefore the risk of injury through aggressive or defensive individuals is decreased immensely. Due to the high-quality manufacturing the approximately 1.020 grams heavy Peerless model risk of injury to the restrained individual is kept low as well. The inner edges are well rounded in order to prevent injuries like cuts and contusions.
