CP-TEX: Arm Protection Shirts for Safety Vests

During operations with protective respectively safety vests security personnel, police officers and officers of justice have to be prepared for attacks. If during these attacks knives, glass shards or other sharp edged weapons are used, there is a potential risk of death. With the CP-TEX shirts arms are protected against such injuries.

The cut protective clothing with long sleeves consists of newly developed CP-TEX fabric and was certified with the highest performance level according to EN388. Besides the protection from cuts the long-sleeved shirts offer several more advantages.

High Protection and Comfort with CP-TEX

The CP-TEX fabric – cut protection textile – consists of technical fibers like fiberglass, polyamide and ultrahigh molecular polyethylene. The fabric is thin yet very durable and resistant, fits like a second skin and offers a high degree of freedom of movement. These factors are important to not be hindered during the arrest of suspects or during the fight against attacking persons. The texture of the CP-TEX fabric additionally adds to the wearing comfort. The soft inner lining and seamless design reduces the risk of chafing. Even if the fabric and skin are soaked during strenuous operations and actions, the shirt is soft to the more sensitive skin.

Aside from the cut protective surfaces of the long-sleeved shirts the clothing is made from a combination of Dryarn®, Spandex and Coolmax®. The mixture of materials is breathable, regulates body heat and works as antibacterial agent. Therefore, it also adds to the wearing comfort.

Arm Protection CP-TEX Shirts with high cut resistance for Operations with Protective Vests

The shirts made of CP-TEX are available in sizes M to XXL and offer cut protection of performance level 5 – therefore the highest level. Despite that they do not guarantee an absolute protection against injuries through cutting with blades and knives. The protective clothing should be viewed and used as an addition to safety measure or protective uniform.

As a subtle part of clothing the CP-TEX shirts can be worn discreetly under shirts and jackets. First and foremost, they are ideal for winter but also for any other case, when arms need protection against cuts.
