Made from stainless steel the hand restraint with pivot joint from Kubind has a weight of approximately 680 grams and therefore shows at first touch how massive the material and manufacturing are. The material is also easy to maintain and clean as well as durable and resistant.

The metallic shine of the stainless steel allows for attractive reflections even with a low and simple lighting. Both wide shackles of the handcuff are connected through a pivot joint. The pivot joint has one chain link on each side that are each connected with the shackles. Due to this design the hands are very close bound together and therefore restricted in the freedom of movement, yet it is still possible to move both hands and grab items.   

Due to the pivot joints there are different possibilities of presentation. The same goes for the unusual locking system. Both halves of the handcuffs are connected through a hinge. The lock consists of a screw that has to be screwed in with an Allen key for closing and has to be screwed out for opening.

Due to the locking system the restraint is very safe. For one it only locks when a screw is screwed in and accidentally closing is therefore not possible. For another the lock is very tight and reliable so that it cannot be accidentally loosened or tightened
